Q — How far can i drive on my Road Hero?

A — There is no maximum distance, however a Road Hero should be used as a temporary measure to get home or to your nearest garage.

A — The Road Hero wheel is restricted to 50mph/80kmh

Q — How do I fit my Road Hero?

A — When changing a wheel, we recommend following the manufacturers instructions as all vehicles have varying restrictions.

Q — Will my Road Hero affect my cars handling?

A — Handling will be different as the Road Hero has a much skinnier tyre compared to a standard wheel.

Q — Will my Road Hero fit both the front and rear of my car

Q — What does PCD and Offset mean?

A — PCD stands for Pitch Circle Diameter and is the diameter of the circle that passes by the centre of the bolts. The offset of a wheel is the measurement of its hub mounting to the centre of the wheel.

Q — Will my Road hero affect my TPMS?

A — Yes. Road Hero’s are not fitted with TPMS, so will still leave warning lights illuminated on the dash.#

Q — Will my Road Hero fit in the spare wheel well of my car?

A — We cannot guarantee that all Road Hero’s will fit into a vehicles wheel well, so we provide a protective bag for safe storage.

Q — Why doesn't my Road Hero have tyre labelling?

A — Temporary use tyres do not require tyre labelling.

Q — Does my Road Hero come with a warranty?

A - Life time warranty against manufacturing defaults, does not cover accidental damage or misuse.

Q — Will my breakdown service fit this item?

A — Most reputable breakdown companies will fit a space saver wheel, however we recommend checking before making a journey.

Q — Should I fit my original bolts?

A — your kit is not supplied with wheel bolts, you may use your existing. However if you are provided with fixings (Nuts/bolts) you must use them

Q — Can i tow whilst using my Road Hero?

A — If you are towing a caravan or trailer, then it is usually ok to fit a Road Hero, however we strongly recommend checking your vehicle manufacturers handbook, as there may be vehicle specific advice.
